We need your support for a community playground project.

The Carrollton Farmers Branch Rotary Club, the Farmers Branch Rotary Club, and the City of Farmers Branch are teaming up to build a beautiful new handicap accessible playground where all children are able to play.

Gussie Field Watterworth Park is located next to Farmers Branch City Hall at 13000 William Dodson Parkway. The playground is located along Rawhide Creek and its beautiful trees and paved walking trails. The area also includes amenities such as a large covered pavilion, restrooms and water fountains, making it an ideal location for this all inclusve playground project.

Remember what it was like to play?

Starting Strong

Studies have shown a child's mental and social development is directly influenced by playground experiences.

Strengthening Friendships

Children learn to develop and navigate relationships through interacting and enjoying play with other kids.

Building Memories

Above the cognitive development fueld by play, children and their parents build lifelong memories together.

Including All Children

Children with disabilities are often excluded from participating in playground play. This new project is designed with all children in mind.

Ensuring Better Life

With an inclusive design, this new playground will help the social and cognitive development of kids of all mental and physical ability.

Building Awareness

By opening the doors for children of all abilities to play together, the community will grow in its appreciation of all people - regardless of disability.
